Where It Started
Before Bryan Nester ever opened an insurance agency, he was learning what it means to bet on yourself. While putting himself through college, Bryan ran his own business managing skill-game and arcade-style machines. It wasn't glamorous work�but it taught him how to solve problems fast, build trust, and stay accountable when you're the one responsible for results.
After college, Bryan entered the insurance industry and worked his way up through roles at Aflac, iSolutions, and Forest Equity Services. Over time, he saw a pattern: employers didn't just need "a renewal." They needed a partner who could cut through confusion, explain tradeoffs, and run benefits with a year-round plan�not a once-a-year scramble.
Taking the Leap
In 2011, Bryan took the leap and started Nester Insurance. Through market changes and the extreme slowdown of the pandemic, the agency kept growing by doing the basics exceptionally well: show up, communicate clearly, and advocate hard for the client.
Today, Nester Insurance is an independent insurance and financial services firm serving employers with strategic benefits planning and comprehensive solutions for group benefit plans, administration, and compliance management�delivered with the personal feel of a small team and the capabilities of a large firm.

Bryan Nester
President
Bryan Nester founded Nester Insurance in 2011 after building his career in the insurance industry and seeing a need for clearer guidance and stronger year-round support for employers. He leads the agency with a hands-on, client-first approach rooted in the same grit that helped him put himself through college while running his own business.
Bryan is known for simplifying complex decisions and advocating hard for the people and businesses he serves.
Amy Nester
Operations Manager
Amy Nester is the Operations Manager at Nester Insurance and the engine behind the day-to-day experience clients feel. She keeps internal workflows organized, service consistent, and communication responsive�so every client interaction is smooth and dependable.
Her focus is making sure the team delivers on promises with precision and care.
Andy Damberger
Automation & Innovation
Andy Damberger joined Nester Insurance in 2025 and focuses on modernizing operations through automation, AI, and in-house tools that improve speed, accuracy, and the overall customer experience. He previously served as Manager of Finance Automation at Tesla, bringing a systems mindset and a strong bias for measurable efficiency gains.
Andy's work helps the team spend less time on manual tasks and more time serving clients.
William "Bill" Johnson
Account Executive
Bill Johnson is an Account Executive at Nester Insurance, supporting employers across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Florida, with a primary focus on the NY, NJ, DE, and FL regions. He helps guide clients through plan strategy, renewals, and the follow-through required to keep benefits running smoothly.
Before joining Nester, Bill spent 2012�2020 at Aflac as a District Sales Coordinator, building a strong foundation in consultative selling and field support.
Camilo Avila
Account Manager
Camilo Avila is an Account Manager who joined Nester Insurance in September 2025, bringing a polished, people-first style and a global perspective from growing up in the UK. He earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2024 and has experience educating college students on financial literacy, which shows in his clear communication and client support.
Camilo is expanding his expertise on the advisory side of the business under Bryan's mentorship and is quickly becoming a trusted point of contact for clients.
